Calling All Socialist Comrades
To mark the occasion of the successful tax increase by our legislature I sent the following to a local radio show host:
Comrade,
Greetings on this the eve of a great victory for the people of the Soviet Socialist Republic of Erie (SSRE). We are well along the path to our final goal of transfering all people's assetts to control of the party. This latest small accomplishment will be approved by the New York Union of Socialist Republics (NYUSR) shortly. Following that we will begin to implement the remainder of our current five year plan. Please inform all comrades in your listening area of the many changes they can expect in their homes and places of work. To further our goals heat rationing will begin in the next few weeks. Certain persons currently engaged in free enterprise can expect notices shortly informing them of their new work assignements in service of the republic. Their previous businesses will be dissolved as they do not fit in our new proletariat friendly economic model. Lastly all citizens may line up weekly to receive their allotment of toilet paper at comrade Giambra's office.
